Apprentice

40 hours per week

Monday - Friday, All year round

Salary ranging from £10,105 - £10,730 per annum

Cherrywood Nursery are delighted to have an opportunity for an Apprentice to join their team. As an Apprentice you will be trained on the job to give you a true representation of what it is like to work in a day nursery. You will be allocated a buddy who you will work alongside, and you will work towards undertaking the role of a key person. Within the role of Apprentice, you will attend training days with our training provider and the other days will be based at your allocated nursery.

During your apprenticeship you will work closely with your buddy to support the development of good practice with regards to inclusion. You will also observe, assess and plan interesting, stimulating, and challenging activities which links to the individual learning, development needs and abilities of the children in your care.

Our Cherrywood Nursery is open from 7.30am-18.30pm and we would require the availability of working varied shift patterns between those times. We have fantastic outdoor play opportunities, a dedicated baby garden, an indoor soft play room and we are an Ofsted Good Provider.

The ability to work as part of a team and use initiative will be a key strength for this role alongside the willingness to gain relevant qualifications.
