Trainee Nursery Nurse

42.5 hours per week

Monday - Friday, All year round

Experience working within Early Years is essential

Salary ranging from £15,194 - £21,595 per annum

Cherrywood Nursery is looking for a Trainee Nursery Nurse to join their team. As a Trainee Nursery Nurse, you will be provided with on-the-job training form our qualified team and you will have the opportunity to work towards becoming a qualified practitioner and gain a childcare qualification. We are looking for someone who has had experience working within an early years setting and has the willingness to learn and grow within this role.

Within the role of a Trainee Nursery Nurse, you will ensure children are kept safe and that staff understand and follow safeguarding procedures and you will need to engage as a professional member of the team, exhibiting a flexible attitude and willingness to develop new skills. Most importantly you will need to ensure that each child’s individual needs are met, and you deliver a high standard of professional care and education in a caring, safe, and secure environment in which all children can play, learn, and develop.

Our Cherrywood Nursery is open from 7.30am-18.30pm and we would require the availability of working varied shift patterns between those times. We have fantastic outdoor play opportunities, a dedicated baby garden, an indoor soft play room and we are an Ofsted Good Provider.
