We are looking for unqualified candidates who could join our friendly team of staff at our OUTSTANDING nursery; The old school house in Stetchworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your career in childcare, to gain a recognised level 2, or 3, childcare qualification or to gain further experience within your current childcare qualification by completing additional courses with us.

At the Old school House our practitioners support children daily in their care needs and ensuring that they access a bespoke curriculum which prepares them for their next stages of education. Interacting with children, staff and families will be a key characteristic of the job role, meaning that being a great communicator is essential.

We are a friendly and professional team of staff at our OUTSTANDING nursery; The old school house in Stetchworth.

Our nursery opening hours are 7.30am to 6.00pm and our team work a mixture of hours between these times. We are open all year round, providing both funded and unfunded childcare to our families. 

The Old School House has an excellent reputation within the community and the surrounding areas, due to our truly outstanding staff and children. We celebrate practitioners for their own strengths and every member of staff is crucial to our service we provide. We offer families a bespoke care package putting each child and their family at the centre of their model. This allows them to receive personalised care and learning to an extremely high standard. 

We are totally committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children & young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, as all new staff will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance, identity checks, qualification checks and employment checks to include an exploration of any gaps within employment, two satisfactory references and registration with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
