Job Description:

As a Trainee Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for the safety and well-being of the children in your care. As a keyperson, you will be allocated a group of children within your room, where you will build secure relationships with them and their families. You will support each child’s individual needs, interests, and learning whilst providing effective interaction within a fun and stimulating environment that allows them to explore & discover!

You will be provided with on-the-job training from our qualified team and the opportunity to join our in-house training programme and work towards becoming a qualified practitioner.

Salary: - £15200 – £21000 based on full time. Full time preferred but part time can be considered.

Cherryfield was established in 2005. We are situated in Epsom in a lovely location next to Southfield Park Primary school, within a 15-minute walk from Epsom train station. We also have plenty of parking for staff and clients. We are 91 place nursery rated Outstanding by OFSTED in 2014 & 2019. We have 5 group rooms for children aged birth to 5 years which offers opportunity for staff to work across all the different age groups within early years. We are a large and busy nursery with a good reputation in the local community and very often, being parents first choice for childcare. We have a team of around 26 staff in a variety of different roles, offering a wide range of training and experience whilst gaining a wealth of knowledge. 

We have our own in-housetraining facilities offering an extensive training programme. In addition, our on the job coaching and training allows staff of all abilities to progress in their role and grow their career within the childcare sector.
