Job Description:

We are looking for a practice based deputy manager to join our dynamic childcare group, supporting the company in delivering its aspirational vision and goals. 

The position is based at our term-time only pre-school based in Mountsorrel.

As a member of the management team you will:

Lead and inspire outstanding practice

Be a mentor for your team, supporting their practice and identifying any areas for their continued professional development

Have exceptional knowledge of the EYFS and child development.

Monitor the observation, assessment and planning cycle for all children

Deputise to the Nursery Manager and adopt overall management responsibility in the event of their absence

Be a Designated Safeguarding Lead

Support the induction process for Employees

Promote positive parent partnership

Actively pursue opportunities for continued professional development to support progression of your practice 

Be an open and honest communicator, reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic

Some experience of leading a team is desirable but not essential

Established in 2001, The Charnwood Nursery & Pre-school Group (CNPG) began as a single site, 26 place pre-school and now comprises of four nursery and pre-school settings as well as three out of school and holiday clubs based in Thurmaston, Syston, Rothley and Mountsorrel. We deliver a bespoke curriculum, designed around the needs of children and their families, ensuring that they gain skills, knowledge and confidence for future learning.
