We are thrilled to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Level 3 Childcare Practitioner to advance as a Cover Floor Supervisor. In this role, you will step into the shoes of the floor supervisor during their absences due to days off and annual leave. Your primary responsibility will be to support the day-to-day operations of our setting, working closely with the manager and deputy manager to ensure the highest quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-12 years.

Key Responsibilities:

Report any concerns, issues, or disagreements to the line manager promptly and effectively.
Actively participate in team meetings, contribute to activity planning, and assist in preparation.
Collaborate with parents, schools, and external agencies as directed, fostering positive relationships.
Promote parental engagement and involvement in the setting to enhance children's experiences.
Demonstrate respect towards all children, parents, and staff, setting a positive example of conduct.
Assist in maintaining up-to-date administrative tasks and records.
Support the maintenance of records and systems as directed.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, such as The Children’s Act 1989, CIW, and Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

Participate in creating and maintaining risk assessments and policies.
Attend regular training sessions for continuous professional development and staying updated on legislative changes.

Maintain a clean driving license and possess access to a vehicle with valid business insurance for required duties.
Foster a collaborative team spirit, actively contribute ideas during meetings, and play an engaged role in the team.
Monitor children's development progress and contribute to planning future learning steps.
Uphold professionalism and maintain confidentiality at all times.
